Accessibility

This statement explains how accessible www.easypay.gi is, what we have done to make it that way, where we know it falls short, and how to tell us if something does not work for you.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site was built against those guidelines and we test as we go, but it has not been through a formal independent audit, so we describe it as partially conformant: most of the site meets level AA, with the known exceptions listed further down.

What we have done

• Keyboard access throughout. Every link, button, menu and form control can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. Nothing traps focus.
• A visible focus indicator. Whatever you are currently on is outlined clearly, so you never lose your place when tabbing.
• Skip to content. Press Tab when a page loads and the first option jumps you past the navigation, straight to the main content.
• Proper page structure. Real headings in a logical order, one main heading per page, and landmark regions for the header, navigation, main content and footer, so screen reader users can move around quickly.
• Text alternatives. Every meaningful image has a description. Decorative graphics and icons are hidden from screen readers rather than read out as noise.
• Colour contrast. All body text, headings, links, buttons and labels meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required at level AA.
• Colour is never the only signal. Links are distinguishable by more than colour, and status information is always given in words as well.
• Resizes and reflows. The site works down to 320 pixels wide and at 200% zoom without content being lost or requiring horizontal scrolling.
• Respects reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations and transitions are switched off.
• Works without JavaScript. All content and navigation remain available if scripts fail or are blocked.
• Plain, specific link text. Links describe where they go rather than saying "click here".

Adjusting your own setup

You can often improve things further using settings you already have:

• Make text bigger — press Ctrl and + (or Cmd and + on a Mac). The layout adapts rather than breaking.
• Change colours or contrast — Windows High Contrast mode and browser colour overrides both work on this site.
• Use a screen reader — the site is built with standard HTML and has been checked with common screen readers on Windows.
• Reduce motion — turn on the reduce-motion setting in Windows, macOS, iOS or Android and this site will honour it.

Known limitations

We would rather tell you about these than let you discover them:

• Embedded maps. The Google Maps panels on the contact page come from Google and we cannot control their accessibility. Both office addresses are written out in full text directly beside each map, so you never need to use the map to get the information.
• Embedded videos. The tutorial videos on the training and downloads pages are hosted on YouTube and use YouTube's own player. Not all of them currently have accurate captions or transcripts.
• PDF documents. Some of our guides, forms and brochures on the downloads page are PDFs produced over a number of years. The older ones are not fully tagged for screen readers. If you need any document in a different format, ask us and we will provide one.
• Software screenshots. Screenshots of EasyPay have short text descriptions, but they cannot convey every detail of a complex payroll screen. If you need something in a screenshot described, please get in touch.

Tell us if something does not work

If you hit a barrier on this site, or you need information from it in another format — large print, plain text, or something else — please tell us. It is genuinely useful to hear about it, and it is how the site gets better.

Please tell us the page address and what went wrong, and we will get back to you within five working days. Where we can fix something quickly we will; where a fix will take longer, we will tell you our plan and offer you the information another way in the meantime.

About this statement

This statement applies to www.easypay.gi. It was prepared in August 2026 following an internal review of the site against WCAG 2.2 level AA, covering page structure, keyboard operation, colour contrast, text alternatives, zoom and reflow, and behaviour without JavaScript.

We review it whenever we make significant changes to the site, and at least once a year.
